DATA COLLECTION

Using Surpac, Minex, Gems, Sirovision and other specialist mining software, SMGC is able to collect, manage and interpret data required to build any geological model on-site or in the office.

In partnership with local staff, preliminary work, supervision and plan drilling programs can be carried out using this state-of-the art software.  Geological data can be enhanced by interpreting magnetics, gravity radiometrics and seismic data.

ECONOMIC ANALYSIS

An economic analysis is the first step in creating a mine reserve from a geological resource and assists in defining a strategic plan.  Analyses are based on mining economics and uses cost maps, pit optimisation and block ranking – methods applicable to underground or surface mining.

FINANCIAL/MINING ENGINEERING

SMGC are experts in resource and reserves evaluation. Working in unison with other consultants, SMGC also provide financial, legal, washing and milling simulation, and environmental impact functions.
